Sirin, Alkonost & Gamayun

Sirin, Alkonost and Gamayun are mythical creatures, half-birds-half-women.

Alkonost brings happiness and consolation, Sirin dispels sadness and longing, Gamayun is a prophetic bird.

There are many legends around them. I like their mysteriousness. They are very special for me and I love drawing them as I see how they represent woman nature and closeness to Mother Nature in general. Often I feel like a bird, I spread my wings and imagination and creativity raise me like a wind.
